The Challenge
The client aimed to provide comprehensive edge solutions across various industries. However, the high costs and potential data loss associated with transporting large amounts of sensor data to the cloud presented a significant challenge. This issue was a major gap in the marketplace, hindering operational efficiency, productivity, and security. The challenge was to develop a system capable of real-time data processing, analytics, and machine learning at the edge to overcome these obstacles.

The Solution
Matellio built a suite of applications and services for the client’s IoT-related solutions utilizing Zigbee, Bluetooth, Modbus, and WiFi networking protocols to communicate with various IoT sensors.
The information collected from these sensors was integrated with various IoT management platforms, such as Tridium Niagara and vPME, and cloud-based providers like AWS and Microsoft to enable the collection and monitoring of telematics data.
Matellio also worked with the client’s engineering team to enhance and build developer APIs, testing frameworks, and developer documentation.
